Fuck it, we did it again
Thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate the release of our second issue last weekend. What a time. We could not be happier with this magazine and the support we’ve found for it. Thank you to everyone featured in the magazine––Billie McKelvie, G. Reid, Richard Holeton, Fred Johnson, Raquel Gordon, Nathaniel Perry, Anna Sorokina, and Adeniyi Odukoya. Thank you Sam Keshishian for the beautiful cover art and to Victor Aquilar for the incredible layout design. Thank you 30love, Lucy Rosie, Josie, and Balaclava for the wild performances. Thank you to Sam Vogel for coming and capturing the night and thank you Harefield Inn for letting us go batshit in your bar for the night. So honored the boys could take a break from playing their rigorous Berlin sex-club tour to come play for us for the night. What a special set.
Squad was hard at work selling mags. Speaking of, if you haven’t bought one yet you definitely should.
Balaclava played next and we almost got kicked out. A lot of beer was spilled.
Set became part combat sport at one point. Shout out to the Balaclava guys for the solid stiff arms.
They’re also big believers in the magic of teamwork.
Concluding the night with a prayer to bless everyone on their future endeavors. If you made it out that night we can guarantee that you have secured a place in heaven. But if you want to go to an even better heaven, with a hot tub, really, you gotta buy a mag.

Fred Johnson is a British writer and photographer currently completing an MFA at Iowa State University in the USA, where he was a 2021-2022 Pearl Hogrefe Fellow. He’s had poetry published in Tilde, Iota, The Incubator, Zetetic Record, Spark, and others, and photography published by Paddler Press and in Reed Magazine.
Adeniyi Odukoya is a Nigerian Poet, Essayist and Journalist. He's the author of the poetry chapbook, Preserve This Light, published by PoetsInNigeria.
Billie McKelvie is an artist and filmmaker working out of Brooklyn. She works for BOMB Magazine, an interdisciplinary arts magazine of artist conversation, and freelance. Raquel Gordon, lives in Seattle where she writes poems, short stories, songs, and choreographs dance theater. She holds a BA from the University of Washington in dance and creative writing where she graduated in 2021. Her poetry is forthcoming in Suburban Witchcraft Magazine, Breathe Bold, and Art,Strike!.
Nathaniel Perry is the author of two books of poetry, Long Rules (Backwaters, 2021) and Nine Acres (APR/Copper Canyon, 2011), and a forthcoming book of essays, Joy (or Something Darker but Like It) (University of Michigan, 2024). He edits the Hampden-Sydney Poetry Review and lives in central Virginia.
G. Reid is an athlete living and working on the east coast.
Anna Sorokina is a New York-based illustrator and designer who loves nostalgia and science. Anna mostly illustrates magazines and books.
Richard Holeton is the author of the hypertext novel Figurski at Findhorn on Acid, other electronic and multimedia literature, and short fiction. He has been featured in the Indiana Review, Mississippi Review, ZYZZYVA, and many other journals. He is a past NEA, MacDowell, Dora Maar House, and California Arts Council fellow.
